Hey all. I have an idea. Let's say if you want to find a certain topic on the boreds. What if there was an edit box where you can type things like firefox or super liam and it will show bored posts pertaining to these topics. let me know what you think.

What I think is that this has been suggested in one form or another several times in the past by several people.

ok. well you see what i mean? i didn't know. that's exactly i would like ot see this feature become reality so people don't have boreds posts going around with the same topics.

I like it.

You are so right about this topic being done before. This is not a criticism as you had no way of knowing, unless you had a lot of time to check it out, as I do right now.

I brought up the zonebbs suggestions board and used the jaws find feature to search for the word "search" and came up with the following:

from holly-bear
from Polka dots and Moonbeams
from Meka
from ShyTurtle
from Yogi
from the zoo keeper

Boy, I sure hope my html worked cause that was a lot of work and the list is not at all complete. I quit on page 7 or 8 of that board.

I did suggest this a while back, not sure how long ago. But people told me the same thing, it's already been suggested. I can't remember, but I am pretty sure, that no admin or cl responded to my post. They might have, but it's almost like they just ignored it. I mean they respond to other suggestions, so why not that one? Unless Jmbouer is a cl or admin, I don't know. Ah well.

As i replied in other simmilar topicks i like the idea and i hope it will become a feature one day.
It would save people of creating topicks that already exist.

I shall e-mail Chris or JJ about this one, mark my words.

it would sure make it easy to find my robot friend and blind halucinations stories on writers block. I wrote them months ago, and they're now burried several pages deep. I'd like to try and find them and get them on this computer. I lost them when i dumped my old computer for the new one, and this computer doesn't have a floppy drive to get them back to the hard drive.

Hi Wonderwoman.
In the Summer i think they were at page 7 or something. But because i wrote comments i moved them up to the top and now they might be at about 3 or 4. You could go in to your profile and see the topicks you posted. Where it says board posts and there is a link with a number. By clicking on that displays the topicks you posted or anyone else. Or you can my board posts because i have got less than you so it would be easier to find. I posted just over 1000 i think.
For now this is the easiest way to find it i think.

wow nikos, i think it would be fun to read all the topics i've either started or posted in. I've never done that, so guess i'll go see if i can find that.

hey I can't find that link that says see the board topics this user has posted to, or whatever it says. I've looked in my account settings, and i've looked under my profile under user profiles, and i can't find it. just wondering if it's even there anymore.

It is still there. It says that you posted 2023 posts so far. It is in your profile. If you click on your username on the list of users on the top of the page you can find it.
It says. Board posts: 2023. This number is a link. press enter on the number of posts and you will see the list of posts you created or posted.
I hope it helps.

thanks nikos, I found it. i was use to looking for something that said, see how many board topics this user has posted in, or something like that. I have over 2000 posts, and am in the top board posters on the statistics page, yay.

I have seen this feature mentioned before. I agree that it should be on the boards page. What a great idea!
